I am seeking information on the descendants of Matthew Lantry and Catherine ?Cavanah? of Co. Cavan. At least two sons, Frank (1820-1891) and Patrick (1821-1898)immigrated to New York City. There are three other sons, Matthew, James, and Thomas and likely sisters by the same father but another mother. Offspring of these sons remaining in Ireland around 1900 were listed in Patrick's death records as living in Derries, Loughdavin, Co. Cavan and at least one family reportedly lived in Cloncovet, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. Census records list Lantrys, Langtrys and even Laughtrys in those areas, but I have been unable to establish the specific connections between individuals.
