William Stinson (or Stenson, he could not read or write) alleged born in Scotland about 1766, married (alleged in Ireland) to Jane Higgins and had 5 children born in County Fermanagh: Charles, James, Margaret, Sally and William Stinson, Jr. born 12 Oct 1819, alleged in or near Enniskillen. William emmigrated to Canada before 1841 when he died in what is now Ontario, Canada. We believe he and 3 of his sons left from Donegal. His daughter Margaret is allege to have married a man surnamed Knight. Daughter Sally married McManus and remained in Ireland.
