CAREW, John
Hello,
I am trying to trace my anscestors from Tipperary co., in particular Woodinstown. The linneage I have established so far is that Lynn Carew (b 1686 in co, Wexford, d 1722) founded Woodinstown. He was succeeded by Robert Carew (b about 1734 d 1761), who married Jane Anderson. Their son Robert Carew ("the elder") married Francis Robbins 29 Jun 1784. He died in 1806 and was succeeded by Robert ("the younger", born about 1790), Joseph (born 1798, married Cherubina Stretch in 1822), Alexander (born 1799), Lynn (born about 1800), John (born around 1799-1801), Jane (born 1792) and Francis (born 1793).
Who I am trying to connect is John (the one born 1799-1801, who I believe married Johanna Dwyer)to a son John Redmond Carew (Born 4 Jun 1825, married Ann Logan 20 Jun 1847, died 2 Nov 1905 in Otanabee township in Ontario, Canada). I am also trying to establish that John Redmond had a brother George and sister Mary Ann (and possibly another brother Patrick) who all came to Canada around 1840.
Would you be able to confirm my information or correct it as required?
