Hi everyone .. I have been trying to trace the family of Patrick Kennedy b. abt 1800 and Mary Carthy b. abt 1800.. (married 7 Feb 1828).. I 'think' they might have been from Thurles.
We employed the Tipperary North F. H. Research Service, Nenagh .. and they found children's Baptisms : Honora 1828, Owen 1830, Mary 1834, Jerry 1836, Rody 1838, Eliza 1841, Michael 1843 and Patrick 1846. I would really like to find out if this is all correct AND if there is any other information about the family .. I know Rody/Roger Kennedy came to Australia as he was my ancestor .. but the rest of the family is a mystery to us. (Two of the children: Eliza and Patrick had witnesses named Jer Carthy and Rody Carthy), other witnesses were random people. Also with Patrick (son) the address given underneath was 'Ballinlonty' ... Under Rody (son) was Fishmoyne.
