I am a descendant of Denis Hogan b. c.1811, who came from somewhere in Tipperary as a convict. Denis arrived in Australia on the sailing ship "Parmelia" and married Margaret Carey, an immigrant from Ireland to Australia. Denis and Margaret had 4 known children, James b. 1835, John b. 1842 - my ancestor, Mary b 1845, Timothy b. 1848. However, I have no parents' names for Denis. I would be please to hear from anyone who has contacts to this Hogan family, as I have been looking for many years for my Tipperary family, with no luck at all.
