I just wanted to thank you for such a WONDERFUL website/resource for EVERYTHING, Bonanza!! Being in my late 30's, I didn't see Bonanza in it's original run(s). HOWEVER,...for the last 10 years or so, I've been a pretty big fan. Ironically, my wife use to question why I watched such a "corny/boring" show. Today,...my wife watches more Bonanza than ME, and knows more about the show than I do!! (Mostly because of your AWESOME website!!)

One thing that we're both curious about that we've failed to find any info on; the chalk sketches at the intro of the show. Do you know anything about them? Who created them? Where they are? If they were ever available for purchase and/or auction?

In closing,..we want to THANK YOU for such a WONDERFUL and INFORMATIVE Bonanza website! There's no doubt, that HUNDREDS of man-hours have gone into the research, development, and maintenance of this one-of-a-kind website! Everybody loves Hoss, those blue eyes reveal a gentle soul.

This show has been my favorite since I can remember watching TV - around 1960. It makes me feel good and makes me wish I could be part of a family like the Cartwright - at the end of the day, they are a tight-knit family, looking out for each other and believing in doing the right thing by everyone.

Difficult to say. After all, the show revolved around family. They were all equally important.

I have many favorites, but always enjoyed the lighter side of Bonanza. The episodes that found Little Joe & Hoss always getting into trouble in a funny way.

In Eleventh Grade In September 1959. I Got The Bonanza Comic Books. I Like To Have The View Master Reels From Sawyer And GAF.
