NO LIGHTBARS-NO MORE PURCHASES
Beware of some dealers who sell those GEARBOX black & white unmarked CVs. I recently purchased three cars, and two did not come with the set of lightbars. I won't mention name (DIECAST DIRECT, oops), but will never purchase from them again.

Why does the vast majority of 1/87 scale vehicles/figures/etc be 50's 60's era?
The new Athearn fire truck is great--I'll get one, but it begs the question (Boley aside), why is there such a trend towards (when it comes to vehicles--not just fire) 1/87 and railroad layouts in general to represent a 1950's/60's or earlier look? There are very...

Corgi '36 Reo Shippensburg
Based on the latest promo photos I've seen of this release: Is this model completely devoid of any red warning lights? The NMMM release, it appears had a siren/flasher atop the windshield and an additional light mounted above the bumper on a V-bracket.

FDNY Seagrave J Series E305....
Re-the "now" E305, is this a "different" cab in anyway to the others previously released? Just wondered with the statement that it was the only J series cab purchased by FDNY in 2005 - is this significant for any specific reason?

NMM #9 the 1936 Seagrave w/ sweetheart grill is still around. It's owened by Matt Lee, the author of the Seagrave books. Rig is an Ex-woonsocket, R.I. The model is quite accurate including the low mounted Roto-ray, siren, Mars Light, etc.
