I should have said is there a good model firehouse builder out there

Hello

In my previous post i should have asked is there a good model firehouse builder out there. I would like to have a firehouse made for my FDNY Engine 58/Ladder 26 and for my FDNY Rescue
. I know that Bill Craven did make model firehouses however i no longer have his e-mail address or his hpone number. I would very much appreciate any help that any of you can provide me with>

Take Care

Re: I should have said is there a good model firehouse builder out there

WOW, you certainly know how to make multiple posts about the same subject.
I thought you may have accepted after no replies to your first post, that no one knew the answer.
However, after your second post on the same subject, I spent about 20 minutes on the internet gathering photo's of all the new york firehouses, and comparing them to the photos of models firehouses on the tin whistle website, something you yourself could have done if you could have been bothered, and posted the answer for you.
But you did not even aknowledge the effort I put into it.
Then in your third post, Larry Phillips was good enough to answer your post, and state that he will try to endeavour to get the address and phone number of Bill Craven, and now in your forth post, you are asking if anyone has the details of Bill Craven??????
I am wondering if you are intelligent enough to click onto a post and see that there is a reply there, or, to keep a topic going, you can hit the reply tab, and re-post yourself.
If so, then there is a very good chance you want be reading this.

Score another one for Pete(UK). You gotta love this guy. He doesn't pull the punches. Way to go Pete.

Re: I should have said is there a good model firehouse builder out there

Way to go Pete....amazing, how many who habituate the internet are unable to obtain information at even the most basic levels. Then again one has only to look at other forums (not necessarily fire related) to see that it is a very common occurrence...there are some seriously dyslectic, kraft type persons out there.

Re: I should have said is there a good model firehouse builder out there

Man, you guys are rough. Some other forums could use a little of what you just dished out, IMO.

That said, it's an honest enough question. John, try a google search of Andrew Benzie at Andrewworld.com/fire (or Andreworld.com/fire). He built a variety of firehouses for his colection that were really well done, but not over-engineered if you get my meaning. He no longer collects, but he had the most awesome collection of firehouses I have ever seen.

Bill Craven is living happily in the great state of GA, about 50 miles south of me in big city of Manchester. You can reach him at his office at Custom Truck, etc., located in the even smaller city of Woodbury, GA @ 888 - 258 - 9695.
