First Response Dodge Chargers??

Status anyone??

I thought they were due "late February" Have they been delayed? I've been waiting for them to come out and then plan to place an order for a couple of them and a couple of the 41 Fords. Figure order them all at once so I'm not paying twice for shipping.....

Re: First Response Dodge Chargers??

Direct from Walt Conroy's site...

QUOTING WORD FOR WORD FROM DIECAST DIRECT THIS MORNING:

"The current update on the first five decorated Dodge Chargers is in transit (NH-SC-MI-MA-IL). The container should hit port around March 3rd or 4th, with the shipment being in house by that Friday the 7th. Unfortunately the blank versions were not finished in time for the container, and will ship in the next couple of weeks with the Crown Vics. Dennis Deal our product manager has issued this statement due to the delay of the product.

"During February, the Chinese observe their New Year holiday resulting in all factories closing for several weeks. The marked versions of the Dodge Charger were completed and shipped prior to this holiday. However, the plain silver and white versions were not completed in time to be included in this shipment. Due to extreme winter weather, millions of factory workers have been unable to return from their homes to the factories located in the southern cities. This has created numerous delays as factories do not have adequate staff to restart production. As a result, their arrival will be delayed until the end of March. Although we regret this delay this situation is not limited to just us, all types of manufacturing including the entire diecast industry have been affected."

Thanks Troy!!

Re: First Response Dodge Chargers??

Hi. The manufacturer should soon be sending us photos of most of the Charger releases scheduled for this year. We will post them on our site as soon as they are available. Thanks!

First Response Dodge Chargers??

Any word if they "fixed" the problem with interchangeable wheels that nobody can interchange without destroying the front steering system and breaking too delicate plastic parts on the blank CVs? That should have been a TOP priority.
