Latest news for C3 shows ANOTHER Quantum repaint. This one for Annandale, VA. Dunkel talks about unique red color, but when you compare the picture of the actual rig to the C3 model, it looks like the C3 model is way too dark. The C3 model almost looks like the old ALF Red that was a deep red, whereas the actual Annandale truck looks to be a brighter red. Am I losing my color vision? What do you guys think?

I agree, Paul, that the photo of the real truck looks to be a brighter red than the model. But with the prototype parked outside in the sun maybe it just appears that way. Maybe?

Yes, another repaint, but I like it. Nice color and graphics.

If only Code 3 would come out with the new-look Quantum.

Have seen the actual rig. The color of the model looks to be accurate. The picture of the actual rig was taken in bad light. It is truly a darker, more browner red. Looks like the model is accurate.....only time will tell!

But you might agree after years of New York and other predictible cities, at least we have new cities

Yep, nice to see rigs from Fairfax County and other locales, like Palm Beach Gardens, instead of FDNY Seagraves for a change.

Well, that could be. But at least 95% of them would be different instead of them just having different Numbers!!

I had heard a few years ago from a good source the mid Atlantic states (e.g. - Md. Pa.) were big toy fire engine buyers. Maybe, and I said maybe, Code 3 has become wise to that thinking. Who knows? Not a sermon...just a thought !!!!!!

I would love to see new molds. I won't beat them up for the new cities but throw us a bone. When was the last new mold???? Even if I do not like it.....Give us a new one.
