Here is a link to a story from Firehouse.com. E-One has been sold to a private investment group. Also, ALF has announced that they will move the fire truck manaufacturing out of the SC plant to 2 other plants up north.

The ALF move is interesting. I was at the plant 2 weeks ago. It looked like they weren't making anything there. Only 1 truck in the yard and the purchasing department wasn't taking any vendors.

Its no wonder ALF has been in bankruptsy,they keep building plants and then moving. If my knowledge is correct, they moved south because they had too many unions to deal with and couldn`t stay in business and now moving back so they can go broke again!
