TWH COLLECTIBLES RELEASES FOLLOW UP PRODUCTION OF OSHKOSH® STRIKER® ARFF REPLICAS
TWH Collectibles announced yesterday the release of the follow up series of the 1:50 scale, Oshkosh® Striker® 3000 ARFF truck. The models will be unveiled at the TWH booth (5854) at the American International Toy Fair 2009 in New York on February 15-18.
These models succeed the first release of Striker collectibles from the fall of 2008 which included liveries such as Vancouver, United States Air Force, S.A. and Punta Cana.
The models are limited to 500 pieces of individual airport configurations including Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Portugal, Oman, Washington D.C., and Toronto.
“These models showcase our continued commitment to Oshkosh and to each airport,” said Cortney Krueger, Marketing Communications Manager of TWH Collectibles. “Each model replicates the exact configuration of the specific machine.”
Functions and features of the Striker models include elaborate details such as a steerable 1st and 3rd axles, functional suspension, roof and bumper tourits, swiveling hose reels, a combination of 15 roll up and compartment access doors, a removable extension ladder, folding cab access doors, a detailed cab interior and accessories, replicated safety and working lights, a chassis sprinkler system, deck safety railings, photoetch platforms, realistic hydraulic, water and work lighting, a chrome exhaust muffler, an accurate decal package and a detailed diesel engine.
