I'm natalie from republic og georgia, many of u might not know my country, its near Russia, at the black sea. my country is very small and to busy trying to join NATO Forces, in this country animals ar no safe, we have a lot of dogs running in the streets, animals are in terrible states in zoo, 2 brown bears were sent to Australia becouse zoo was unable to feed them.
i'm writing this comment to ask you for help, if you can advice me international animal defender organization or federation, to whom i can turn to, to help animals in my country.

I appologize. I was incorrect in the "baby seal" description. I have since read the CBC article on the seal hunt, and apparently white coats loose their white fur quite early on. Sorry.

I'm horrified by the inaccuracies on your site. It is illegeal to hunt/kill baby seals in Canada (and has been for many decades)!
The seal hunt is designed to help preserve the fisheries which are in serious danger (eg cod). The seal population is considerably above sustainable levels, and it is cruel to allow these mammals to starve to death. Their natural predators' (whales) populations are also in decline and are no longer keeping the seal populations in check, effectively eliminating their natural predators. Please verify your information sources.
