I went through THX Level I training at CES and was referred to HAA training level I & II. HAA training was more entailed to home theater and more advanced educational training.

Good day sir,
The workshop was an eye opener for someone like me who has always identified himself as a Music admirer and had fiddled around till now in the direction inane. The workshop has brought in a direction & now compels to question the thoughts, equips us to plan, implement, gauge, debug and implement again to attain perfection.

A mere suggestion being that, alongwith the notes - a ready reckoner enlisting critical basic processes elucidating their primary purpose & use, while being a part of main notes, shall be a boon to many.

And you have been a great teacher with course directed to initiate it with strong basics and to take it there on depending on every individuals vision & need. Thanks to have interjected whenever we went dumbfounded or lost the pace.

Thanks much once again.
Shall see you at the next session.

Hey It was a wonderful experience gained lot knowledge on practical examples and real time challenges at the field and also some good training on acoustics usages and system usages. Finally I can say that any budget home theatre can make it as a good sounding.

I've attended ISF2, THX2 and I would consider HAA1&2 being the most exciting and fun learning experience I've ever had in Shanghai Nov10-13 2012. If there is a more advance level of HAA, I will definately sign up for it!

I had high expectations heading into the HAA Level II course and these expectations were exceeded. The course showed me that so many long held beliefs that I\'d picked up as a keen audio enthusiast were simply misguided.

Our team proved that great sound is achievable in a less than ideal room and with what was relatively modest equipment, simply by implementing what was taught to us by Gerry.

I\'m glad I made the investment in this training.

As an experienced AV professional, I have done many courses on room acoustics, including THX and have always managed to get what I thought was a good result for my clients, even in difficult room, so when HAA was brought to Australia I wanted to improve on my knowledge so I did the Turbo Cal, Level 1 and Level 2 coarse in Melbourne 2011 and let me just say we not only bent all of my long time golden rules, we broke them and made new ones!

The room we worked on as a team, with Gerry\'s guidance was 6.3m square with a 2.45m high suspended ceiling, that rattled like hell, after two days of intense measuring and calibration the 5.2 THX certified MK speaker system, imaged like a high end two channel system and totally enveloped you in sound, the HAA training was fantastic, thanks Gerry for bringing it to Australia.

At the end of the THX Home Theatre Level II course I attended in 2010, renowned THX instructor John Dahl said to the class (and I\'m paraphrasing slightly) \"if you\'d like to explore the topics we\'ve covered in greater detail with more comprehensive practical exercises, I\'d strongly suggest Gerry Lemay\'s HAA Level II course\". I took his advice - doing so was made much easier by Gerry kindly taking the time to head Down Under in 2011 - and I\'d strongly suggest that anyone who\'s serious about home theatre, either as a profession or DIY, should do the same.

There\'s a lot of \"white noise\" out there on internet forums and websites about acoustics and home theatre (much of it clearly wrong), and the HAA courses, particularly the two-day Level II practical course, will clear it up for you. As an example, we had a square room - and I mean *seriously* square - in a disused office building (suspended ceiling, commercial grade carpet over timber floor, thin drywall etc) in which to set up our system, and by the end of two days, it was the best demonstration room I\'ve ever heard - period. No trickery, just plenty of science and guidance by a consummate professional.
